Recent Crimes in Dunwoody

Last Saturday night, Dunwoody police officers responded to close to 40 calls for service.

 

Dunwoody Police reported some recent incidents on its Facebook page.

  • There was an attempted motor vehicle theft at the Broadstone Apartments on N. Peachtree Road. The owner discovered his SUV down the hill from where he parked it the night before. The suspect managed to get the SUV in neutral but apparently not started.
  • A 1998 dark purple Town & Country minivan was stolen from the parking deck of Ashford Park Apartments. The tag # is GA (PDN6357).
  • Officers responded to an in-progress theft at Lens Crafter at Perimeter Mall. The suspect is still at-large but appears on the mall security camera.
  • Officers were directed to increase neighborhood and business patrols in the area of Cotillion Diver, N Peachtree Road, N. Shallowford Road and Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Two arrests were made.
  • During the overnight shift, Saturday officers responded to close to 40 calls for service. They conducted intense overnight patrols of businesses, and dedicated time for traffic and DUI enforcement. Two subjects were arrested for a combination speeding, driving without licenses and equipment violations. A third was arrest for domestic violence related charges after officers responded to a call for service at a home.
