Stepped Up Speed Patrols in Dunwoody Lead to Arrests
The Police Department increased speed patrols in the last week, especially around schools.

Dunwoody Police stepped up speed patrols across the city this week, and the patrolling led to a few arrests for more than just speeding, police reported.
The stepped up speed patrols came in response to residents complaining about speed problems in town. Police patrolled the Kingsley subdivision, the stop signs along North Peachtree Road and around Chesnut Elementary School and Dunwoody High School.
Speeders were stopped along Womack Road in the afternoon and North Peachtree Road - near Peachtree Middle School - during the morning drop off.
