Teens Assault Pregnant Cab Driver, Rob Three: Police

Dunwoody Police have charged two teenagers with targeting Hispanic cab companies and their drivers, then robbing them.

Two Dunwoody teenagers have been charged with armed robbery for allegedly assaulting a pregnant cab driver and shooting at another cabbie, say Dunwoody Police.

The Dunwoody Police Department has arrested Jamie Leonardo Trevino, 17, and a juvenile male, both of Dunwoody have been charged by the Dunwoody Police Department with three counts of armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a pistol under the age of 21.

Between Dec. 14 and 16, the two suspects allegedly robbed three taxi cab drivers at gunpoint, Dunwoody police say. The suspects called for a cab, then reportedly robbed the drivers as they arrived at Peachtree Place North Apartments.

During the robberies, police say the suspects assaulted a pregnant female driver and fired a bullet at another driver. No injuries were reported during the robberies.

The suspects were targeting Hispanic taxi companies, police say.
