Two Dunwoody Residents Win National Merit Scholarships

DHS grad, Riverwood International Charter School grad, win scholarships

Two recent graduates from Dunwoody will be receiving National Merit Scholarships when they head to college this fall.

Elysa C. Friedman, a student from Dunwoody High School, will be heading to the University of Miami, where she plans on going into the Pharmacy field.

Joss Taylor Olson, a student at Riverwood International Charter School, will be heading to Carlton College in Northfield, Minn. There, Olson plans to pursue a career in screenwriting.

Students are selected for National Merit Scholarships through scores on the Practice SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, taken junior year; academic performance; SAT scores and the support of school leaders.
