Whiz Kid of the Week: Maddie Dill

Age: 15

School: Dunwoody High School

Accomplishment: In the words of Rev. Phil Brown of St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, Maddie Dill is, “a smart and amazingly talented young person who uses those gifts to help others.”

Key to Awesomeness: Maddie Dill, with a 4.0 GPA, is the 9^th grade class president, in the Spanish National Honor Society and active on the swim team and as a cheerleader.  

Not only a brilliant young woman, she demonstrates a generous heart for others through her volunteer work at the Druid Hills Night Shelter, with the children’s ministries at St Luke’s Presbyterian Church, and helping with the Tartan Trot run at St. Luke’s.

She has been on mission trips to Mexico to build houses and this summer, is going on a mission trip to Honduras.

Maddie and her mother are currently training to participate in a Sprint Triathlon for Breast Cancer Research on Mother’s Day.
