Woman Charged With DUI After Dunwoody 285 Crash

Dunwoody police have charged an Atlanta woman after a Thursday night collision on I-285 near Ashford-Dunwoody Road.

Fox 5 Atlanta is reporting that Karen Smith Morton has been charged with DUI and child endangerment.

According to Dunwoody police, Morton was driving drunk with her 6-year-old daughter in the car when her vehicle drifted into another lane and hit another car. Both vehicles then struck the barrier wall.

Two people were injured in the incident. Morton's daughter was not injured, according to the report.
