Woman Survives Crash After Vehicle Goes Airborne/Rolls Over

Dunwoody Police cited the driver of a tractor trailer who crashed into a car on I-285, Monday. According to the department's Facebook page, the female motorist only suffered minor cuts. Her car went into the air and then rolled over when it landed, witness told police.

In a separate incident Monday morning, an officer responded to a call on a man asleep in his car at a Stop sign, at Dunwoody Club Drive and Happy Hollow Road. Marijuana was beside the sleeping man, the FB post said. After he was awakened, the disoriented man said he had been at the Velvet Room on Chamblee Tucker Road and thought he had driven down to 14th Street where decided to stop for a nap.

On Tuesday morning, a 24-year-old Conyers man was arrested for DUI and reckless driving following a two-vehicle crash on I-285 West. There were no injuries, however the driver was nearly double the legal limit.
