Last month, police said they arrested three other people suspected of robbing the home. Police said there were multiple suspected burglars, but three of them "thought they could hide in DeKalb," making "a critical mistake."

The first person arrested was Jarvet Myrick, who was taken into custody on Nov. 26, 2025, police said.

Myrick was accused of driving a vehicle with thousands of dollars in cash, suspected marijuana and a gun inside, police said.

Weeks later, Deandrez Jackson was arrested on Dec. 16, 2025, when detectives stopped a vehicle on Columbia Drive, police said.

Jackson and multiple others were inside the vehicle, along with drugs and five guns, police said.

Two days before New Year's Eve, police said they arrested Maurice Taylor on Dec. 29 during a traffic stop at Belvedere Circle. Police said marijuana and a loaded gun in the vehicle.

All of the arrestees were taken to the DeKalb County Jail, police said.
