ACTRESS KIM FIELDS HOST MID-SUMMER STUDENT ACTING CAMPS IN ATLANTA

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO REGISTER!

Creating an educational and fun summer program for Atlanta’s youth in grades 1st through 12th, actress Kim Fields is hosting a mid-summer series of camps to introduce young people to the creative world of acting, TV/Film production and creative writing.Β Β Inspired by her career, expertise as a child actress and her own children, FieldsΒ founded the programs and serves as the lead coach for all sessions.Β  Beginning Monday, July 27th, all camps are hosted at Whitefield Academy in Mableton, GA, and include August dates of the 22nd and 29th.Β

1. Fundamentals of Acting -- July 27 - 31:Β  Designed forΒ students in grades 1st - 4th, The Lights! Action! Kids! program is fun, imaginative and interactive.Β  Fields guides kids through age-appropriate activities including improvisation, creative acting games, monologues and commercial training.Β  This session is perfect for the child with an interest in acting and/or those that want to develop their creative personalities. Β

2. Master Creative Writing Lab -- August 22: Hands-on overview and development of entertainment writing for the stage, books, web, TV and film. This session is for students grades 5th - 12th.


3. Intro to TV and Film Production -- August 29: Students grades 9th - 12th will explore and develop introductory skills in the behind-the-scenes world of TV and film production.Β  This interactive, engaging session includes web and theater content production as well as a mix of other activities.
