AIDS Walk Atlanta, 5K is Southeast's Largest

The 25th annual AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K is set for Sunday, Oct. 18, in Piedmont Park. The event has grown to be the largest AIDS-related fundraising event in the Southeast, with more than 10,000 registered participants raising over $1 million in previous years.

The event begins in the meadow, goes through Midtown and returns to the park.

AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K raises funds for organizations in metro Atlanta that provide imperative programs for over 27,000 people infected or affected with HIV/AIDS.

Actress and singer Sheryl Lee Ralph is this year’s host for the event.
