• Atlanta mayor to introduce citywide surveillance rules after audit flags 79 APD Flock camera searches (atlantanewsfirst.com) — Atlanta's mayor is moving to create permanent citywide rules for police surveillance cameras and license plate readers, a change that would also shape how technology is used in East Atlanta neighborhoods. After an audit flagged a small number of questionable Flock searches, the proposal would write stricter oversight, transparency, and privacy safeguards into city law within about 60 days.
