Atlanta Fair moves in and sets up for the 2016 carnival season February 26- April 2

The rides are in gear and there will soon be cheer; get ready, Atlanta- the fair is near! Returning for another season of annual amusement and entertainment, the Atlanta Fair is back and better than ever, February 26- April 2. In honor of the 1st Ferris Wheel, which debuted in February 1893, the Atlanta Fair is offering guests the original fair admission of only 50 cents! To celebrate the 123rd anniversary, guests who purchase tickets on Sunday, February 14 or Monday, February 15 will receive the discounted admission offer, available Sunday and Monday only. Mark the calendar- fair season is here!

Adventure seekers and fair foodies are invited to spring into spring with electrifying adventure, heart-pounding exhilaration and endless amounts of mouth-watering funnel cakes! Moments after entering through the front gates, carnival goers can admire the city lights atop the Towering Ferris Wheel, spin gleefully in the spring air on the Tea Cups and take a magical tour on the nostalgic carousel. When the hunger sets in after soaring high into the southern sky on the Flying Dutchman or racing the clock on the 45-foot Ring of Fire coaster, guests are encouraged to stop by one of the many fair-food eateries to indulge in the savory delights of elephant ears, cotton candy and candy apples. With some many options to choose from, there’s something to satisfy every taste.

Fair entrance fees are $1 for children shorter than 36”. For guests taller than 36”, fair entrance fees are $3 (Monday – Thursday); $5 (Friday, Saturday afternoon and Sunday); $8 (Saturday evening), and children under 2 are free. Individual ride tickets can be purchased for $1.25 each or unlimited ride armbands are available for $25 each. To purchase tickets, please visit eventbee.com/atlantafair/.

*No entrance after 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday

Fair Entrance Fees are as follows:
Monday – Sunday: $1 for guests under 36”

Monday – Thursday: $3 for guests 36” and up
Friday, Saturday Matinee (1-5 p.m.) and Sunday: $5 for guests 36” and up

Saturday Evening (5-10 p.m.): $8 for guests 36” and up

Individual Ride Tickets are as follows:

Monday – Sunday: $1.25 each

Unlimited Ride Armbands ($25 each) sold during the following sessions:

Monday – Friday: 5-10 p.m. (not sold after 9 p.m.)
Saturday: 1-6 p.m. (not sold after 5 p.m.)

Parental Escort Policy in Effect

Children under the age of 16-years-old must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older on Friday and Saturday evenings. One adult may escort up to four youth. All guests must be able to present valid Georgia or government issued photo ID.
