Atlanta's Municipal Election: Who Are You Voting For?

Atlanta’s municipal election is four weeks away and will take place on Nov. 5, 2013. Mayor Kasim Reed is facing a trio of challengers, while a dozen of the 16 men and women who sit on the city council also face opposition.

This week, the Committee for a Better Atlanta (CBA), a nonpartisan committee representing more than 20 of Atlanta’s influential businesses and civic organizations, released its Consumer Reports-style evaluations of the candidates running for mayor and city council. The CBA Voter Guide rates candidates on business issues important to the community-at-large.
