Have you ever heard a word or words and no matter what you're doing during the day, your mind keeps going back to that word/phrase? That's where I am right now. I was sitting down, getting ready to go into meditation and all of a sudden I hear the flight of the San Juan Capistrano Swallows.
I immediately turned to see if I may have heard it on TV, but they were running the football stats, so I know it wasn't that. I began to think. While I'm on the west coast, I should drive to San Juan Capistrano a walk around the mission. No, the swallows won't be there, but they are calling me...

FLASH FORWARD
The Swallows of Capistrano normally leave San Juan on the Day of San Juan or somewhere close to it. I believe it's October 23 [1023], but don't quote me on that! They make their way back, I believe, March 19th [319]. Thinking about the Swallows brings a lot of things to mind, like 818 & 810 & 811 are bird numbers and the Church the Swallows go back to every year, without fail, was mostly destroyed in 1812--oddity? I think not.
I begin to think about the constant, how everything is change and yet....
