Take 48-year-old Bill Love, who opened Floor Coverings International of Northeast Atlanta in February. Though he might be new to franchising, Love is anything but a novice when it comes to the home improvement industry, having spent the past 15 years working in the corporate offices of The Home Depot and the 10 years before that with Target. “It was a natural transition,” Love said. “Working for the world’s largest home-improvement retailer taught me a lot about running a business and how to treat customers.

Bill also enjoys community involvement since he has two daughters and a son who are active in the Creekview school system’s bands. “As VP of the booster club I help with all facets, planning, budgeting, fundraising etc. I even pull the trailer of equipment to and from football games and competitions,” Bill said.
