Chamberlain Hrdlicka Attorneys Contribute to National Publication On Construction Law

ATLANTA, Jan. 13, 2015 – Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry is pleased to announce the release of the second edition of Georgia Construction Law. Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Atlanta-based Construction Law team, including shareholders Michael P. Davis, Nicholas S. Papleacos, Seth R. Price and Gina M. Vitiello, and Senior Counsel Jill R. Johnson, served as authors for the book, published by HLK Global Communications, Inc. The guide serves as a construction law handbook for industry leaders with projects in Georgia. The book is available for purchase here.

“There is a great amount of risk involved with construction projects, and the goal of each party involved is to mitigate this risk as much as possible in order to maximize the potential profit of the project,” explained Price, who chairs Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Construction Law practice in Atlanta. “This risk most commonly shows up in the contract between the participants. With such a wide range of issues that can surface in a construction project, it is important to have a clear understanding of the law when entering a contract and beginning work. This publication spells out the Georgia laws that are applicable to the myriad of issues that can arise on a construction project.”

Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Construction Law practice provides a full range of services in counseling clients with any legal issue at any phase from pre-development to post-construction. The practice includes a team of experienced industry leaders who know the construction industry, and are in tune with the diverse legal and business issues that their clients face.
