Crim High School Hosts 'March Madness' Discussion For Teenage Boys

KIRKWOOD — March Madness is winding down as we enter the last weekend of the NCAA Tournament and the Final Four, but that will not stop the vital learning male students received last week at Crim High School.

Crim Open Campus High School hosted a March Madness event that offered valuable workshops for male students.  APS TalkUp Blog wrote "guest speakers presented topics such as project manhood, social etiquette, healthy peer relationships, healthcare, and music production."

Men from the local community even spoke to the students and chose to focus on "developing positive characteristics and planning for the future."

LaShean Davis, a Crim High School student is quoted as saying, “we learned about life, and how to handle your business as a man in life. The lessons that were taught had my mind cultivated to the point that I will never forget that day.”

Alvin Davis, a social worker at Crim told the APS blog, “nothing gives me more pleasure than pouring into the young men here at Crim High School. I believe the seeds we plant will eventually grow and produce young men that we can all say have made us extremely proud.”
