David Allen King II Promoted to Senior Manager at UHY Advisors

UHY Advisors (www.uhy-us.com) today announced the promotion of David Allen King II to Senior Manager within UHY’s Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance group. Based in the Atlanta office, he advises business and technology executives nationwide on cybersecurity and operational risk management initiatives.

“David King has brought a wealth of experience in the information technology area to UHY’s clients,” said David Barton, Practice Leader for Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance. “Every month we hear about another company experiencing a data breach or mishandling information technology. David has become a key member of the team addressing these issues for our clients.”

As a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) David assists companies with Payment Card Industry (PCI) issues including readiness and attestation of compliance.

King’s professional skills and qualifications include:

• Designing, budgeting and implementing cybersecurity programs and infrastructures
• Directing cybersecurity awareness and training programs

• Developing and implementing cybersecurity, data governance, and identity & access management programs and strategies
• Assisting clients with a variety of risk management and control issues

Prior to joining UHY, King worked for PwC as a Manager/CIO Advisory, for Magnitude Capital as an IT Manager and for Mariner Investment Group as a Senior Systems Administrator. He received his Bachelor of Science in Technology from Herzing University. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor.

King lives in the Glenwood Park area of Atlanta with his wife, Dr. Bo Yung King.
