About the Downtown Daffodil Project:
Central Atlanta Progress, in conjunction with Am Yisrael Chai!, launched the Downtown Daffodil Project in 2013 in support of the worldwide Daffodil Project, which aims to build a Living Holocaust Memorial by planting 1.5 million daffodils around the world to remember and represent the one and a half million children who died in Nazi occupied Europe and those that continue to experience human rights violations today.
The Downtown Daffodil Project is one-of-a-kind beautification program that creates a ribbon of consciousness between the King Center and the Center for Civil and Human Right featuring over 100,000 daffodils in full bloom throughout the heart of the city each Spring. The Downtown Daffodil Project serves as the largest installment of the worldwide Daffodil Project.
