Councilwoman Natalyn Archibong and I want to advise you all that robberies have been committed in Atlanta police Zone 3 & Zone 6 with the suspects driving vehicles that have been reported stolen in these two recent carjackings:

  • Case No. 112342297 involves a 2007 tan Ford Focus, with license plate No. BLJ1152. That carjacking occurred in the 2900 block of Lakewood Avenue. The gunman is dark-skinned with a mohawk haircut. He was last seen wearing a bright blue Aeropostle shirt and khaki shorts and brandishing a small, 9 millimeter weapon. The other suspect has a slim build, is light-skinned in complexion and wearing a red ball cap.
  • Case No. 2112312726 concerns a dark blue Ford Escape bearing license plate No. ME 2462. The vehicle was taken from the 600 block of Connally Street SE in Atlanta's Summerhill neighborhood. The first suspect is a dark-skinned black male in his early 20s and about six feet in height. He has short hair and last seen wearing a white tank top, dark blue jeans and carrying a black, semi-automatic pistol. The second suspect — the driver — is a black male in his early 20s with a Afro-style hair cut and last seen wearing a black shirt.
