East Lake Foundation Hires Two
Elizabeth Kuney and Cornesha Scott are part of the development team.

The East Lake Foundation’s Development team continues to expand with the recent addition of two staff members.
Elizabeth Kuney has joined the Foundation as Volunteer and Special Events Manager. In this part-time role, Elizabeth will be responsible for all special events planning and execution, and will also manage the Foundation’s volunteer program. Elizabeth was most recently the Business Development and Communications Manager for the Atlanta office of the Jones Day law firm. There, she served as the firm’s liaison with East Lake Golf Club and several of the Foundation’s programs, including The First Tee of East Lake.
She also has solid experience in advertising, marketing and business development. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Elizabeth is a member of the Corporate Volunteer Council, the Legal Marketing Association and the Junior League of Atlanta.

Cornesha Scott, formerly an intern in the Development department, has been promoted to Development Coordinator. In this new role, Cornesha is responsible for a variety of functions, from managing the donor database and tracking donations to coordinating fundraising initiatives such as direct mail, monthly giving, and matching gifts and employee giving. She has been working at the East Lake Foundation as the Development Intern since November 2012.
Before she joined East Lake Foundation, Cornesha was a teacher and after-school counselor in Jupiter and Orlando, Florida, respectively. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Cornesha is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgia State University and is a member of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
