Carribean Storytelling Festival

In celebration of Caribbean American Heritage Month, audience members will be treated to Anansi stories, the poems and stories of Louise Bennett.  Young members of the Caribbean American community will also present and read their favorite Caribbean children’s book.  All ages are welcome.

The film screenings will be held at the Central Library on Wednesdays in June at 6:00pm, with a reception and meet and greet at 5:00 p.m., featuring refreshments from the country being showcased that evening. After each screening, there will be a question-and-answer session.
