GardenQuest is offering six workshops to help you get ready for springtime. Here's your chance to learn from the experts (the very best!) and gain a little down-in-the-dirt hands-on experience!
Workshop Topics and Times:
- 10:00am - 2:00pm: Burgess-Peterson Academy students will be selling seedlings they have grown for $2/piece
- 10:45am - 11:45am: Butterflies, Ladybugs, and Me! free* outdoor planting project in the library plaza for kids ages 4-10.*registration required
- 10:00am - 11:30am: Affordable Organic Gardening with Glynis Ward
- 12:00pm - 1:30pm: Secrets to Amazing Backyard Compost with Brownwood Community Garden co-leader, Mary Yetter.
- 2:00pm - 3:00pm: Contain Yourself!Creating Special Gardens in Containers by veteran garden designer Brooks Garcia
- 3:30pm - 4:40pm: Unique Plants and Designs for the Garden by GardenHood owner, and event sponsor, Scott McMahan
