DeKalb County Cooperative Extension Family and Consumer Sciences Department and CredAbility will present a seminar designed to help prevent citizens from becoming victims of foreclosure scams.
Facilitator Beatrice Guliano Mauerberg, Financial Education Specialist, will lead the seminar, which will answer the following questions:
- What are foreclosure scams?
- What are the characteristics of a foreclosure scam company?
- What are common red flags to fraud?
- What are the steps to take if you are in danger of foreclosure?
