Beginning Saturday, Sept. 22, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub will be raising our steins and chanting, "Oans, zwoa, g'suffa," (one, two, drink!) along with the rest of Munich, Germany! In true German fashion, we'll be serving up specials including Bernhard's Bavarian Pretzels with grain mustard, Delia's Chicken & Patak Bratwurst with house kraut , Jaeger Schnitzel with German potato salad, Schweinhaxe with rotkraut (red cabbage) and herb spatzle (pictured), and Zwetschgenkuchen (plum cake).
We'll also be paying homage to German brewing, which is detailed in written texts dating back to 800 B.C., with a small batch of Oktoberfest beer in addition to pouring our Rauchbier, Kölsch and Hefeweizen.
