To kick off Black History Month, the Auburn Avenue Research Library, in collaboration with the Word Weavers Poetry Society from the New Schools @ Carver and Georgia Hill Library, will host the 2012 Stand for Peace Teen Summit. The Stand for Peace Teen Summit is a community forum that serves as an inter-generational conversation on using the principles of the Civil Rights Movement as the foundation in the fight to eliminate teen violence in the Black community.
