Workshop: Starting a Yo-Yo Quilt

It's a fascinator! It's a table runner! It's a cute way to cover up ugly logos on reusable bags! And it's also a quilt! Yo-yos (fabric ones, not toy ones) are super easy and quick to make, scrap friendly, and can be applied all sorts of ways. They're also a good way to learn or brush up on some hand sewing skills. And they're incredibly addictive and can be taken anywhere, which is kind of the makings of a perfect project. Come on down! All materials provided. Trust us, this is a quilt you'll finish!

You'll need to be a member of WonderRoot to attend this workshop (and the others we'll be throwing each month), which is really easy to do: 1) go to www.wonderroot.org/membership.htm, 2) pick which level you’d like to enroll ($10/month or $60/year), 3) in the “how did you hear about us?” box fill in “creative reuse,”** 4) attend our workshop, along with any other WonderRoot classes your heart desires for the length of your membership! **Be sure to complete step 3! Those who do get free supplies to take home with them! PPS-Your membership also gets you discounts at groovy places such as Park Grounds Coffee. Discount on coffee?! You're so there!
