Georgia State Representatives visit Georgia Connections Academy

Virtual school is working with state education leaders to strengthen virtual school offerings

Local state representatives recently visited Georgia Connections Academy, a tuition-free, public virtual charter school serving K-12 students in every county, to speak with school leaders, parents, students and officials about how a completely online education works. The school’s leadership team is working with state education leaders to strengthen virtual school offerings and outcomes in Georgia, said CEO Heather J. Robinson. State Representatives Brooks Coleman, Valerie Clark, Joyce Chandler and David Clark toured the virtual school’s headquarters in Duluth with Gwinnett Commissioner Jace Brooks.
