Grant Park Cooperative Preschool Hiring Teachers

It's been a tough couple of years for educators in metro Atlanta as several school districts have cut back on jobs.

The has two positions at its Cabbagetown campus for the 2011-2012 school year it's seeking to fill:

• One educator to work with the multi-age class (3- and 4-year-olds).
• One educator for its afternoon program.

The school says qualified candidates will have strong communication and organizations skills, be caring, intuitive, creative and community oriented. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, experience working with young children and a working knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Spanish language skills also are a plus.
