Holiday Trash Pickup Schedules

Changes in East Atlanta Patch for Christmas and New Year's weeks

Though Christmas and New Year's days are on Sundays, the city of Atlanta's public works department will observe the days after the holidays — Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 — as its day off.

Regular collections resume Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Tuesday, Jan. 3 those weeks.

Containers — Herbie Curbies and recycling bins — should be placed by the curb by 7 p.m. the night before collection day and removed by 7 p.m. on collection day.
