East Atlanta man witnesses motorist speeding down I-20 east shooting gun near Glenwood Avenue exit.

An East Atlanta man on his way home Thursday night said someone was speeding down I-20 East firing a gun.
Caleb Spivak said he was nearing the Glenwood Avenue exit on the eastbound side of I-20 when he saw sparks coming from a speeding four-door sedan travelling in the HOV lane.
It wasn't clear if the gunman was shooting at someone in particular or just firing the weapon up in the air.

"I'm just completely shocked," Spivak told East Atlanta Patch late Thursday, recounting the shooting, which he said occurred around 11 p.m. "I'm driving home, minding my business and next thing I know, I hear gunfire from a passing vehicle.
"It's like something you see in the movies," he added, saying he heard at least five shots being fired. "You don’t expect to see it in real life."

Spivak said it didn't appear as if anyone was injured in the spray of bullets.
The Atlanta Police Department said it had no information on the shooting.
And because no one was injured, it's not likely they ever will, a police spokeswoman said.
