Taste America to showcase Atlanta’s best culinary talent
The 2nd Annual James Beard Foundation’s Taste America will kick of its national 10-day culinary event series in Atlanta on September 12 and 13. This exciting two-day affair-a first for Atlanta-will feature a Friday evening benefit dinner at King Plow Event Gallery followed by a Saturday roster of free culinary demos, book signing and tastings at Sur la Table.
Guests will experience a unique tasting reception featuring cuisine from Atlanta’s JBF Award winning and nominated chefs followed by a decadent dinner at King Plow Event Gallery. We are thrilled to welcome Taste America All-Star Chef Barbara Lynch on No. 9 Park who will join forces with Atlanta culinary darling and Host Chef Anne Quatrano of Bacchanalia to create the menu all paired with wine and cocktails. The reception will feature tastes from Atlanta’s beloved culinary legends: Billy Allin of Cakes & Ale, Ford Fry of St Cecilia, Asha Gomez of Cardamom Hill, Linton Hopkins of Restaurant Eugene and Kevin Rathbun of Rathbun’s. All proceeds from the event and auctions will benefit the Foundation’s education and Awards programs.
