City officials, dignitaries, VIPs and approximately 20 children from Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy helped celebrate the grand re-opening of John A. White Park, home of The First Tee of Atlanta, on Friday, October 3, 2014. The course closed for three months due to erosion problems and reopened in October with new bridges, sand bunkers and, most notably, paved cart paths.

Thanks to a generous $250,000 contribution from the City of Atlanta and Fulton County Recreation Authority, The First Tee of Atlanta was able to upgrade the cart paths throughout the entire course.
