Kid's Coding Class is in Session!

Metropolitan Atlanta children will have an opportunity to learn solid coding skills this 2015/2016 school year.

We’ve done our homework and found two things, the computer science and technology field is booming, but there is not enough talent to fill the millions of jobs that are currently available.

In addition, computer science is fundamental knowledge all students need for the 21st century. However, computer science education is marginalized throughout K-12 educationβ€”denying access to this critical knowledge, particularly among underrepresented groups.

The founders of Code Kids Rock have made a commitment to become what we call β€œstat killers,” by providing solutions to some of the talent and educational gaps we are facing as a nation.

Code Kids Rock will provide a solid curriculum to help ground our students in relevant and pertinent technology principles that will enable them to become critical thinkers and problem solvers.

Our program officially launches in August and registration is now open for the school year program that will take place on Saturday’s from 9 - 12 at Polygon in Atlantic Station.
