Alvin Austin Jr., affectionately known as “Bubs”, departed this life Oct. 26, 2013 at the age of 53 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born April 28, 1960, in Warren, Ohio, to Alvin and Vondell Austin.
He graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and completed his BS degree in Social Work at Ohio State University in 1983. Alvin is survived by his mother, Vondell Austin of Baltimore; two brothers, Paul (Diane) Austin of Atlanta, Jeffrey Austin of Youngstown; two sisters, Alvinia Austin of Youngstown, Carol (Patrick) Watkins of Owings Mills; and several beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Austin. A private viewing was held October 28, 2013 for family members. May he finally rest in peace!
