Overnight Shooting Reported in Ormewood Park

Several rounds of gun shots were fired into an Ormewood Park home early Wednesday morning, according to police.

Atlanta Police were called to the 1100 block of Portland Avenue SE around 1:50 a.m. after reports of shots fired.

Police found 33 shell casings of various calibers outside the home. One man was shot in the leg and transported to Grady Hospital in stable condition.

The victim said he was sleeping on the couch when he heard the gun shots.

Police believe three men are responsible for the shooting. There are no descriptions of the suspects available at this time.
