Drivers were asked to avoid this popular East Atlanta area due to an overturned tractor-trailer Thursday.
EAST ATLANTA, GA — Drivers were asked to avoid Moreland Avenue at Thurman Drive due to an overturned tractor-trailer Thursday in East Atlanta, police said.
Officers were on scene investigating the incident, which caused Moreland to close between Henrico and East Conley roads, DeKalb County Police said. This included exits from I-285 to Moreland, police said.
"We ask drivers to avoid this area during the clean-up," police said earlier in the day.
