Pike Nurseries to hire over 100 employees this holiday season

Seasonal job opportunities available at largest independent garden retailer

The holidays are right around the corner, and the nation’s largest independent garden retailer is ringing in the season with a variety of job opportunities. Pike Nurseries locations in metro Atlanta will add more than 100 seasonal associates in the coming weeks. Whether applicants are experienced sales professionals, retail managers or hobby gardeners, Pike Nurseries has a position for anyone who loves plants, people and playing in the dirt. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend the Pike Nurseries Career Fair onThursday, October 29 from 2 – 6 p.m. at any store location (excluding Lake Oconee and Peachtree City).

Pike Nurseries is focused on exceeding the customer’s expectations by offering superior knowledge, quality and selection in a friendly, caring environment, especially during the busy holiday season. The garden center is seeking applicants at every knowledge level – from budding high school students to those with a rooted background in horticulture looking for a career. Employees must be prepared to proactively engage with customers, take the guesswork out of gardening, care for the store’s plants and more.

Employment opportunities are available at Pike Nurseries’ metro Atlanta locations (excluding the Lake Oconee and Peachtree City store locations). Open positions include: manager trainees, sales associates, maintenance personnel and cashiers. While these are seasonal positions, there is opportunity for advancement as well. If an employee does well with the team and enhances customers’ shopping experience, Pike Nurseries is open to finding a permanent position within the company where they can further grow and excel.
