Remembering Then and Now of March on Washington #MOW50

On this day fifty years ago many people gathered to the Washington Monument for the peaceful demonstration to Promote Civil Rights. On that day the late Martin Luther King, Jr. gave the memorable "I Have A Dream" speech. http://http//abcnews.go.com/US/fullpage/mlks-dream-speech-civil-rights-now-infographic-20083372 People of all walks of life from celebrities, lawyers, doctors, laborers, and domestic workers were there to join in the cause.

Today we as a nation have gathered again to remember this day that has made a path for so many. The birth of Civil Rights was born with changes such as women in the work place, same-sex marriages, Black Americans completing high school, and more than one minority on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Let's let Freedom Ring acknowledging what has been done for us so that we can have what we have today.
