Stolen Car Warning In Inman Park

Someone with a penchant for older model cars has been busy in Inman Park.

Two vehicles were stolen from the 60 block of Spruce Street between Dixie and Edgewood avenues, this week.

Sometime between Friday night and the Saturday morning, a 1996 Plymouth van, blue/green in color with North Carolina license tags was stolen from the victim's driveway.

On Monday, a 1990 Chevrolet S-10 truck was reported stolen from the same location. The truck is burgundy with two large gray splotches atop the cab. The license tag is: 734-MKA.

Meanwhile, another 1996 Plymouth van — later determined to have been stolen — was found idling on Spruce Street.

Whether the thefts are part of an organized ring, is unclear, Atlanta police said.
