Thanks, Pat Apoian For A Job Well Done

Atlanta Police Inv. Patrick Apoian, was awarded the APD Purple Heart Award Tuesday. A motorist allegedly hit Apoian with his car during a July 21 traffic stop in Kirkwood, resulting in the officer's weeks-long stay in the hospital and now, physical therapy.

The award was part of the "Crime Is Toast" breakfast — held at the Georgia World Congress Center — to honor APD's best.
