The Physics of Toys Workshop for Kids

Barnes & Noble in the Edgewood shopping district is

hosting a Hands-On Learning event providing children, ages seven and up, the

opportunity to learn the physics of toys by building rubber band racecars on

Wednesday, June 18, at 6:00 PM.  

During this event, children will make and experiment with a

wind-up toy car using a rubber band, gears, wheels and a simple frame.  A race to see who created the fastest car

will follow.  Children will be permitted

to take their cars home after the event. 

Space is limited to 30 children.
