Three Injured On Construction Site In East Atlanta

Three men were injured Wednesday afternoon, including one critically, when they fell from the roof of a two-story, wood frame home on Flat Shoals Avenue under renovation.

The men were contractors working on the home at 629 Flat Shoals Ave., Atlanta Fire Capt. Jolyon Bundridge said.

It's not clear if they were wearing any safety harnesses when they fell from the roof and onto the floor in the home's interior, he said.

Two of the men, including the one critically injured, were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The third was transported to the Atlanta Medical Center.
