After years of working in and being a part of the greater Atlanta Community, I want to give back! In honor of my mother, Bettie Durden, who passed away from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in January 2005, I am hosting and DJing an Ice Cream Social fundraising event to raise money for MS research and awareness on Sunday, June 1st, from 3-7pm . This event will span multiple genres of music but more importantly, music everyone can dance to! The event will take place at The SoundTable, located at 483 Edgewood Avenue SE, Atlanta, GA. Proceeds will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Georgia.
Currently there is no cure for MS. The money that is raised will be used to find the cause, treatment, and ultimately the cure of multiple sclerosis. The money is also used to provide education, information, direct financial support, and scholarships to individuals and families living with MS. With your support, we can help put an end to the mystery of MS, and through research, we can save other families from losing their loved ones. If you are not able to attend/participate, please consider making a gift to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at http://main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR/DiYFundraisingEvents/GAADIYEvents?px=13377292&pg=personal&fr_id=22657
Please join me in the movement to do something about multiple sclerosis now!
