Warning After Stokeswood Avenue Break-In Attempt

Head-up East Atlanta: A Stokeswood Avenue resident reported that burglars attempted to break into her neighbors' home in the 700 block of the street at about 1 p.m. Feb. 27.

A burglar alarm scared them off.

Last week, the same resident said another neighbor reported a 3:30 a.m. attempted break-in at his home even though the home was occupied with three vehicles parked in the driveway.

Dogs scared the would-be burglars away.
