Woman Found Dead In Home As Workers Demolish Old Fourth Ward House

A woman police believe to be homeless was found dead Saturday in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood as workers prepared to demolish the home.

Police don't suspect any foul play with the woman whom workers found at 52 Daniel St.

It's not clear if she died as a result of the demolition work or if she was already, a police spokeswoman said.

An autopsy will be performed to determine exact cause of death.
