The A D King Foundation is committed to empowering our youth and promoting non-violent social change strategies as a way of life across the globe. Once a year we sponsor cultural youth exchange travel program.

Last year, A D King Foundation took a group of students from various Atlanta Metropolitan City schools and colleges to Bimini Bahamas for our annual cultural youth exchange program. Majority of the students have never left the state of Georgia, talk less of The United States. This was a very educational and exhilarating experience for them.

Rev. A.D. King was the only brother to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. he had a deep love for youth. The Ebenezer Baptist Church Children Chapel was named in his honor. Mrs. Naomi Ruth Barber King also shares the same passion for our youth, and continues to preserve the legacy of her beloved husband.

On Nov. 21, 2014, we are taking a group of youth to Brazil for our annual cultural exchange youth empowerment program students are selected to partake in the trips based on school recommendations; academic performance, behavioral excellence, and students must write and submit an essay on their perception of the civil rights movement and how they can contribute to a better world. La fundación de AD King esta en serio en apoderar a nuestra juventud y enseñarles a no acudir a la violencia y además enseña estrategias de cambios sociales como una manera de vivir y estos ideales lo compartimos con en el mundo entero. Una vez al año intercambiamos cultural juveniles en un programa de cambio de viaje.

El año pasado la Fundación de AD King tomo a un grupo de estudiantes de bastantes escuelas y universidades del sistema metropolitana de Atlanta a Bimini, Bahamas por este programa de viaje.

La mayoría de los estudiantes nunca salieron del estado de Georgia , mucho menos de los Estados Unidos. Esta experiencia fue educativa y fascinante para ellos.

El Reverente A.D era hermano de Martin Luther King Jr. y amaba a la juventud profundamente. La iglesia Ebnezer Baptist Church Children Chapel fue nombrado en su honor. La señora Noami Ruth Barber King también comparte esa misma pasión por la juventud y continua el legado de su esposo amado.

En Noviembre 21 del 2014, nosotros llevaremos a este grupo de jóvenes a Brasil por nuestro cambio cultural de viaje para los estudiantes que fueron seleccionados a participar en este viaje por recomendación de la escuela, su acto académico, excelencia disciplinaria, los estudiantes debería de escribir una carta de su ideal acerca del movimiento civil y como mejoro el mundo.
