An eagerly awaited Marietta tradition, this year’s annual Carols for Christmas Concert at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church will have performances on Friday, December 4 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 6 at 5:30 pm. Admission is free to the public
For 30 years, Mt. Bethel has been kicking off the holiday season with a concert celebration unlike anything else in the area. This year’s rousing concert commemorates that long tradition of beautiful Christmas music, by offering a program filled with some of the most memorable moments from past concerts.
Carols for Christmas features a magnificent 200 voice choir and a stellar orchestra all under the baton of Director Ira Pittman. This concert will tell the Christmas story through stirring narration, beautiful music and an exciting light show. Your heart will fill with memories from Christmases past, as timeless songs inspire you with meanings that are still alive today.
