
Cobb EMC recently hosted an education luncheon to honor its employees involved in the Cobb EMC Partners in Education program. For the past 21 years, Cobb EMC has sponsored activities such as mentoring, career day, red-ribbon week and mini-grants through the Partners in Education program.
Principals from four of Cobb EMC’s partner schools attended the luncheon including, Dr. Tracie Doe of Timber Ridge Elementary, Peggy Fleming of Due West Elementary, Robin Lattizori of Dodgen Middle School and Jim Bishop of Allatoona Elementary School. During the luncheon, each spoke about the importance of Cobb EMC’s partnership with their schools.
“What Cobb EMC does at our schools is amazing,” Lattizori said. “I’ve never had a partnership that’s done so much for our school.”

Fleming added, “Cobb EMC makes a difference in the lives of students.”
Partners in Education is one of the many programs through which Cobb EMC gives back to the communities within its service area. Partner Schools include, Timber Ridge Elementary, Boston Elementary, Allatoona Elementary, Due West Elementary, Russom Elementary, Lovinggood Middle School, Ford Elementary, Cobb Performance Learning Center, Marietta Performance Learning Center and Dodgen Middle School.
