Herrin Pediatric Dentistry Open For Business in East Cobb: A Dental Practice for All Children
ATLANTA, November 12, 2012 – Herrin Pediatric Dentistry (www.herrinpediatricdentistry.com), located in East Cobb off Roswell Road, officially opened their doors for business with a Ribbon Cutting on Friday, Nov. 9 and a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, Nov. 10 complete with a pizza party, games, a clown, face painting and balloon animals, and arts and crafts for kids.
Dr. Herrin saw a need for a specialized children’s dentist in the area when he decided to locate his practice here. “My goal was to open a dental practice completely focused on children. From our brightly colored walls to ceiling-mounted TVs to the Xbox in the waiting room, we want to make a trip to our office as positive an experience as possible,” says Dr. Herrin. “And we are committed to giving the best possible service to all kids and all families.”

Dr. Herrin has experience treating a wide variety of dental diseases and behavior challenges. He notes that between his time working at children’s dentistry practices as well as his training and residency in children’s hospitals in Texas, he has seen and treated children with a wide variety of physical and mental disabilities – both in type and severity. “Syndromes that many dentists only read about in journals, I was actually able to effectively treat,” he says.

About Herrin Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Brent Herrin, D.M.D. opened Herrin Pediatric Dentistry in Nov. 2012 in East Cobb. Previously, he worked at a several of pediatric dentist practices, including offices in Savannah and Atlanta. Dr. Herrin attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas where he received a certificate in pediatric dentistry. At Baylor, Dr. Herrin trained at multiple clinical sites including Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, Children’s Medical Center and Baylor School of Dentistry.
His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and Paul P. Taylor Alumni Association. Dr. Herrin also served on the council for dental health for the Georgia Dental Association.
